♡How To Care For Your Circle Lenses♡

Hi there! I ordered a couple of pairs of circle lenses from uniqso and I thought it would be a good opportunity to take some pictures and explain the unpackaging process and how to take care of them, when I first started wearing lenses I actually ruined my first pair because I thought I could be all willy nilly with them.... woops (,,๏ ⋏ ๏,,)

For the purpose of better explanation, this post will be picture heavy (my apologies in advance if you're not into that kind of thing).

Onto the review of uniqso!

The store was actually having a HUGE sale for the new year and everything was half off! I'm actually not too into lenses because of my prior bad experience with them but a friend recommended the store and I gave it a shot. I mean, $9 lenses?? Heck yeah it's worth a try!! I ordered them on 1/1/2014 and they came today, so that was excellent shipping! EDIT: I actually noticed I picked the fast shipping option so I actually paid more money for them to come this quickly (;☉_☉)
it looks like the regular shipping time is about a week for someone who lives in the states, and up to 10 days for other international shipping.

The packaging is so friggin' adorable, I'm a huge sucker for cute packaging (~_~;)
I'm not going to review the actual lense in this post because I like to try out things for a month before I tell my friends about them! But here's some pictures of the packaging:

It came with 2 lense cases and one I bought myself, along with Rhoto Eye Drops (which is awesome because I would've had to buy some if they didn't send them)! I usually don't get any eye drops with my orders from other stores, especially if I'm buying everything on discount, so I'm really impressed with this service (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

The super duper cute packing c:
I got grey lenses and brown, very good choices for new lense wearers who want more natural looking ones! There are tons of other colors like pink and purple too, I recommend trying them all, hehe.

As far as the service and other aspects of the store go, I give uniqso a 5/5! The shipping time was excellent, the price was also great and I was sent extra items, and the shipping was adorable! Not to mention that they contacted me for every step of the process to assure me that they cared about my order arriving safely (๑>ᴗ<๑)

UNPACKAGING CIRCLE LENSES

The first time I opened up a pair of circle lenses I was nervous.... LOL
My first piece of advice to you: use tweezers!
I tried to do it by hand and one of my nails chipped and my hands were cut and beat up before I realized I needed tweezers 。・゚゚・(>д<)・゚゚・。

So first off, you'll get two vials with a lense in each.
Use the tweezers to remove the cap from the vial.

It should look something like this:

Now, use the tweezers to remove the tin seal. It looks like foil wrap but it's actually REALLY sturdy and sharp when broken up!! Be careful!

All the seals are off! Now you can easily open the soft cap and get your lense out, finally (;*△*;)

Open the cap and put the bottle upside-down in your palm and let the solution drain out slowly. Don't let the lense go down the drain! Keep lifting sloooooowly until the lense is sitting in your palm.

Woo! We did it!

Put your choice of solution (I use Bausch & Lomb: Birotrue multi-purpose solution) in the contact case and place the lense in to clean it out. Repeat this whole process with each lense. Make sure to let the lenses sit in the case for at least 8 hours!! I know it's so tempting to try them on right now, but you don't know how long those lenses have been sitting in the same old solution for..... it's not worth an eye infection!

Some general tips for care:
☆Put new solution in the case every time you take out/put the lenses back in
☆Wash your hands before you touch the lenses
☆To clean your lenses, pour some solution on them and gently rub it into the lenses
☆If you have an eye infection throw out the lenses right away!!
☆make sure to keep the left and the right in their respective spots, if you have an infection in one eye, it may spread to the other

Sorry this post was incredibly long.... But I hope I helped at least one person so they don't waste a pair of lenses like I did ;~;
Thank you so much for reading~!
